Ordering
Orders can be placed online on this website or by phone, fax, post or through customer's official ordering processes depending on the school or organisation. Please check with finance officers first if phone orders are allowed or official order numbers must be quoted.
Inspection copies are not normally available as the materials sold are copyright free. However, samples from all books will be made available.
If the book is not what you expected when it arrives, please get in touch with us. We have no desire to sell people materials they do not want.
From receipt of order, the average turnaround time of goods is 10-14 working days.
All goods are despatched using the Royal Mail unless particularly large quantities are involved..
Charges and Payment
Prices are always current at time of supply and subject to change without notice.
Payment for goods via BACS, cheque or credit card is expected within 30 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
Returns
No returns will be accepted unless permission has been granted. Requests for returns will only be considered if made within 1 month of supply.
In the event of returning goods, a credit will be issued on receipt of the goods in re-saleable condition at our warehouse.
The goods must be in good condition for a credit to be issued. When returning goods please make sure that they are securely packed, any badly damaged books which have not been packaged securely will not be credited.
If any goods are found damaged or incorrect to your order on receipt then please get in touch with us as soon as possible.
Damaged books –we will ask you to return the items by post and on receipt we will credit the postage.
Shortages – Once we have been notified of any shortage a thorough check of our despatch process will be carried out. If this fails to track any problem the shortage will be re-ordered and sent on free of charge with a copy of the original invoice.
Incorrect orders – If quantities or titles are received incorrectly please get in touch with us and the problem will then be investigated. If we discover that a fault has been made on our part we will ask for the book(s) to be sent back and will refund the postage. If the investigation reveals that the problem is the result of customer error eg wrong ISBN ordered, then we are unable to pay for any postal charges incurred when returning the goods.
